Is POTH behind the scenes and invisble, or do Ineed to select POTH at some point so the devices run through it? The next issue I encountered was when trying to use PHD2 to guide.

(Is that normal? It seems to me that it shouldn't really matter, but maybe it does? IDK) Somehow, I managed to get all the devices connected to ASCOM and NINA, but when I look for an avenue to run them with Poth, I don't see any options. I tried to load and run ASCOM first in my start up sequence, but found that NINA would not load if ASCOM was already running. I have ASCOM 6.6 with POTH installed, but I'm not sure about the proceedure to connect all the devices together. Jerry and Wes have been a great help, (before I knew about this forum) but now I'm stuck. I am currently using SharpCap 2.0 for polar alignment. So here's my story: I am trying to connect my PMC-Eight with NINA, ASCOM and PHD2 on a HP laptop with Windows 10. It's frustrating, but I think it a rite of passage for this hobby. I really don't want to spend more time in the freezing cold trying to figure out that, ' something' that is not right. You might be asking, 'Why didn't you just do all that inside a nice warm house?' I did, and I thought I had everything set, but here I am. I spent the last 3 nights, freezing my #%$ off trying to get these all my devices connected. This forum is being written more out of frustration than anything else.
